John and Sam Pringle

"BANG," Sam Pringle killed a wild turkey. While reloading he finds that he only has a few more cartridges left, and his horn that holds his gun powder is almost empty. He slowly walks back to the large sycamore tree which he and his brother, John Pringle, are making camp.
Sam and John are fugitives from the British army in the French and Indian War. They decided that life in a rat infested fort was not for them, so they deserted. While running away they find a large hollow sycamore tree that is big enough that two small, skinny beds and a fire pit. They have been living here a while and are just figuring out the best hunting grounds.
John was at the nearby lake gathering their water for the rest of the day when Sam came into camp, so Sam started to clean the turkey and get it ready for roasting. By the time John got back Sam nearly had the turkey picked and on the fire. Sam told his brother the problem he had just discovered. John decided that he would go to the Virgina Colony and get supplies. Sam was not too fond of the idea, but did not say a thing.
The next week John and Same say their goodbyes and John is off for the Virgina Colony. A couple weeks pass and Sam begins to get lonely and worries about John. Sam has no idea how long his brother will be gone so he starts trapping animals and fishing more than usual, sparing the precious cartridges for only the most urgent cases. He traps small animals such as raccoons, opossums, beaver, muskrat, and foxes. This makes up his diet along with the occasional deer and turkey.
Meanwhile, John has reached the colony of Virgina, in his soldier uniform, and finds out that the war is over. Immediately starts celebrating. he goes to a bar and treats him self to a drink of rum. Then realises that his brother is still back at the tree.
His brother on the other hand is having Indian trouble: a group of Cherokee Indians have camped out near his source of water. Two Indians go hunting and smell the smoke of Sam's fire and sneak up on him and take him hostage. Sam thinks maybe if he gives them meatbefore they take him away that they will trust him and maybe even help him out.
Well it did not work out as well as he planned the Indians still did not trust him well as he would like, but the trust grew as time passed. He got all the supplies he needed from the chief and the chief learned how to shoot a rifle in exchange.
Then John came back and the Indians gave him a grand welcome because he brought new foods and clothing. John and Sam got through the war being deserters and living in a huge sycamore tree.

I would like for your to correct the spelling and grammar mistakes and republish to the Internet. Start by using the spell check on the tool bar.

I did not see any problem with the placement of the text on the page which you emailed me about. Let me look at it Tuesday in the lab!
